Hold / Fetch

Hold (Ctrl+H) saves a copy of the scene to Moritz’s temporary folder. The open file and its path stay as they are.

Fetch (Ctrl+Alt+F) asks, then loads the held copy. Your file keeps its name and path, so Ctrl+S still saves to your file. Both are also in Edit > Hold / Fetch.
